"Their engines should be pulled and rebuilt at around 100k miles." Porsche engines, especially the 911s, are legendary for their longevity (assuming you have fixed the cam chain tensioner on the 2.7 engines.) Properly maintained a 911 engine will easily hit 200,000 miles. They are fairly expensive, like all other engines they do blow up sometimes, but overall they are very reliable engines.
